Ask
a woman to run for office.
Women
are less likely
to run for office because they are not encouraged to do so and they are
less
likely
to be recruited by local political leaders. Though women are
just
as
likely to win a race as men are, they are less likely to see themselves
as
“qualified” for elected office. Help
change this situation by
encouraging women you know to run for office.

Host
a house party.
Hosting
a house party
is a great way to encourage your friends and neighbors to get more
involved to
learn about the PWCF and to build the base of women supporters in
Pennsylvania.
Hosting a house party is easy. All you need to do is pick
a date,
create an invitation list, and provide drinks and snacks for your
guests.
The PWCF will provide invitation, the support, and schedule a local
woman
candidate or office holder to attend. Email
us to learn more about hosting a
house party.
